eSports is a growing phenomenon offering a whole new group of students amazing opportunities for personal and professional growth. In addition to the well-documented social and physical benefits of group activities, esports is able to offer students improved academic professional opportunities. In essence, esports is a fun way for students to reach their potential.

 

This spring/summer, RJA will be hosting a 12 week online video game challenge, consisting of 3 different series - elementary, middle, and high school.


The Basics

  • Games for every grade level - elementary, middle, and high school.
  • Online Video Game Challenge runs from May 4 - July 24.
  • One hour sessions (may vary slightly depending on game).
  • Games take place Monday - Thursday (depends on grade level).
  • PRIZES for every session winner.

eSports Program at eHigh San Bernardino and eHigh Fontana

Students at eHigh have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of eSports, from joining the eSports team to learning how to manage esports tournaments and promote events.  Because our program is built around entrepreneurship, students are not limited to just playing, they can go on to work in any aspect of this fast-growing industry.

Times: 4:00pm - 5:30pm
NVMS Gamer Series
Middle School Gamers
Grades: 6-8
Games: Fortnite, League of Legends, & Overwatch
Dates: Tuesday
Times: 4:00pm - 5:30pm
iEmpire Gamer Series
Elementary School Gamers
Grades: 1-5
Games: Fortnite and Smash Brothers
Dates: Wednesday
Times: 5:00pm - 6:00pm

REAL Journey Academies (RJA) is a non-profit, charter school organization headquartered in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. RJA currently operates four school sites serving over 1,300 K – 12 students in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.  RJA is also developing plans to expand operations in both the Inland Empire and in other regions of California.  eHigh Fontana, our 5th school, will be opening this August in Fontana.
